Rooted in East Nashville
since 2003
A clinic born from community need. Powered by community trust.
— Founding Mission, Eastside Clinic, 2003We believe healthcare is not a privilege. It is a right. This clinic exists to act on that belief — not just state it.
Built when others looked away
In 2003, a group of East Nashville physicians, nurses, and community organizers noticed something troubling: patients were waiting until their conditions became emergencies because they couldn't afford routine care. One ER visit for a managed condition. One diabetes complication that preventive medication would have avoided.
They decided to do something different. Pooling personal loans, donated equipment, and volunteer labor, they opened the doors of Eastside Clinic to anyone who walked in — regardless of what they could pay.
Twenty-one years later, we still open those same doors every morning, for anyone who needs us.
Our four values
These aren't slogans on a wall. They are the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
Equity First
Every clinical and operational decision is measured against one question: does this serve everyone, especially those historically excluded from care?
Compassion in Action
Empathy is not a policy. It's how our staff shows up — every visit, every call, every interaction. You are seen here.
Clinical Excellence
Inclusive care is not lesser care. Our providers are board-certified, continuously trained, and held to the highest standards.
Community Powered
We exist because East Nashville asked for us. We grow because East Nashville trusts us. We answer to our community first.
